EFPIA’s Director General Nathalie Moll on COMBACTE’s Private-Public Partnership

Nathalie Moll – the Director General of EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) – provides a bird’s-eye view on the advantages of COMBACTE’s private-public partnership in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.

Nathalie: “We welcomed sincerely the call from IMI, as we are convinced that it is only through comprehensive collaboration with all stakeholders that we can find effective, viable solutions to address antimicrobial resistance”.

In 2016, COMBACTE’s academic coordinator Marc Bonten gave an interview on starting up the COMBACTE-NET project together with the academic and EFPIA partners. “When the call came from IMI on behalf of ND4BB, I was skeptical. But I immediately got involved. Partly because I instantly say opportunities for scientific research” he stated.
