ESCMID Conference on Coronavirus Disease: ECCVID

On the 23rd until 25th of September, the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) is organizing an online conference on COVID-19. The ESCMID Conference on Coronavirus Disease - ECCVID - will take place entirely online.

ECCVID will provide a scientific programme covering a wide range of topics on COVID-19 in the form of scientific symposia, Keynote lectures or ePosters and scientific abstracts.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, healthcare across the globe has been facing challenges and uncertainties when it came to treating or preventing the disease.The ECCVID conference is a great opportunity to learn about the latest research on COVID-19 coming from around the world. Sharing knowledge in a time of crisis is of utmost importance to tackle the pandemic.

During the conference clinical microbiologists, infectious diseases specialists and experts from the field will present their latest evidence on the disease.

COMBACTE and ESCMID

Since 2013 COMBACTE has been a part of ESCMID’s European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) on a yearly basis. If in the first years of participation COMBACTE was only showcasing its plans for becoming the largest pan-European clinical trial networks in combatting antimicrobial resistance, in the latest years anyone visiting the booth could learn about COMBACTE’s achievements, milestones, and significant results from the consortium.
