Face-to-Face GCP Training Italy

On 11th-12th June, COMBACTE will organize its 9th Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training in Rome, Italy. For this training clinical and laboratory investigators in Italy are invited.

COMBACTE’s network in Italy consists of 50 hospitals and 35 laboratories out of which hospitals have been selected to perform studies such as ASPIRE-SSI, EURECA, RESCUING and REVISIT. Previously COMBACTE face-to-face GCP trainings were held in Lisbon, Bucharest, Podgorica, Sofia, Grindelwald, Madrid, Belgrade and Athens.

In collaboration with partner European Forum of Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP), a 2-day program will be offered. Expert GCP trainer Dr. Ingrid Klingmann from EFGCP and members of CLIN-Net and LAB-Net will be giving the GCP training. The training program consist of different exercises, a clinical- and laboratory break-out session and information about the most relevant GCP regulations.

This training  also offers practical guidance to optimize the often so difficult recruitment of patients to support the performance of investigators in clinical trials. After the plenary sessions, the course will be finished with an official Transcelerated accredited exam. If the GCP exam is successfully passed, an official certificate will be provided.

The next face-to-face GCP training course will be held on 25th and 26th of June 2018 and will be organized in Podgorica, Montenegro, for our COMBACTE investigators in four Balkan countries: Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro.
