My COMBACTE Community: Frank Coenjaerts

Frank Coenjaerts (UMC Utrecht) and his team set up the assays required for SAATELLITE, ASPIRE-ICU, ASPIRE-SSI and EVADE in the laboratory facilities at UMC Utrecht. Once satisfied that everything is in place and ready to go, he turns them over to the research team that will be conducting the study. Frank is the linking pin between the COMBACTE Consortium, MedImmune, the gobal biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca, and the Medical Microbiology department of UMC Utrecht, where samples are analyzed more closely in search of biomarkers.
