Looking Back: 24th ECCMID, Barcelona, Spain

ECCMID 2014 ended with a total of 9,548 delegates, 10,627 (Including Industry). It is recognized by academia and the industry as the largest European congress for the presentation, discussion and networking of research in the field’s infection and microbiology. Last year the hosting country of the 24th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases was Barcelona, Spain. ECCMID was held at the CCIB – Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona, The Barcelona International Convention Centre – an important part of Diagonal Mar, the newest section of Barcelona’s seafront. COMBACTE was represented as 1 of the 99 booths in the exposition area with a booth number 76.
